Carol Kellett
Carol Kellett (nee Carol Cutler) worked at Poole Pottery from 1969 - 78. She is well known and celebrated for her Delphis designs and this work can be found in many important collections including a piece in the Victoria & Albert Museum.
She worked under Guy Sydenham, who at this time, was the head potter at Poole. She also threw pots for their Atlantis range.
In the past few years, Carol has set up a pottery at home, and has been consistently making new work and enjoying experimenting with slips and glazes dug from Poole Harbour.
I am delighted to be showing her recent work in this 'Dorset' exhibition,
