Shinner’s Bridge was set up in 1947 with Marianne and Sam Haile at Dartington in Devon, previously the pottery of Bernard Leach. In the 1950s she was a founding member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. Awarded a CBE in 2006, her celebrated work can be found in the V&A museum.
